Terms and Conditions for using this site, ETHICALAUCTIONS.COM

 

Welcome to ETHICALAUCTIONS.COM, the online trading community. These terms and conditions are intended to assist keeping ETHICALAUCTIONS.COM a safe & ETHICAL place to trade.

The Service provided by ETHICALAUCTIONS.COM is only available to individuals who can make legally binding contracts.  You must be a member of Ethicalauctions.com to buy or sell on this site.  Registration is required, and is free.  Verifiable addresses are required for registration.  Only sellers will be required to include credit card information when they register, as this is required for billing purposes.  As a member, you are solely responsible for any transactions that you are involved in.  You may not lend or share your account with others.  Members may only have one identity.

Ethicalauctions.com only provides a venue for buyers and sellers.  We do not act as auctioneers.  Items offered on this site are the sole responsibility of the offering party, and, as such, any agreement between parties involved in the transaction should be clear and concise, before, during and after the auction.

As a buyer, you will insure that you are familiar with the terms of the auction you are bidding on, BEFORE PLACING A BID!  Buyers are encouraged to communicate with sellers before bidding to insure that they know what they are bidding on.  Once you bid on an item, you have a contract.

As a seller, you will insure that items you offer for sale are clearly described, not only the item, but the condition of the item, shipping and insurance costs, and any other areas that will facilitate a smooth transaction.  Once an item is offered for sale, you are expected to leave the item up for sale until the final date of the auction, or in the case of Buy it now, when that price has been met.  Items may be removed from auction for a limited number of reasons, but will need approval from administration of this site to do so.

Items offered on this site must be legally owned.  Services may not be offered on this site.  Items must be on hand when offered (no reservations, etc.).

Pornography (or adult content items), tobacco products, animal or plant tissue (living or dead), counterfeit or copied items,  items prohibited by shipping companies, MAY NOT BE OFFERED ON THIS SITE.

Sellers must leave feedback within 3 days of payment clearance.  Buyers must leave feedback within 7 days of receiving goods.  Feedback is meant to be a means of providing information about buyers and sellers.  It is not meant to be vindictive.  Sellers feedback is not contingent upon buyers feedback, and vice versa.  Feedback is a VERY IMPORTANT part of this site.

Buyers must insure that payment is received by the seller within 7 business days of the auction close.

Sellers must ship their items within 3 business days of payment clearance (we would prefer to see same day shipment).

Failure to comply with the Terms and Conditions of this site may result in penalties.  All we ask is that if you are selling something, you do so in a manner that makes it easy for a buyer, and for buyers, make sure you understand everything about what you are bidding on.

We want to keep this simple and ethical.  We know from experience that 99% of you want to do the same.  We want ethical buyers and seller, WE DO NOT WANT PEOPLE THAT WANT TO SCAM OTHERS.
