Thank you for visiting our Auction Site.

We are one of the many new sites that are going to be starting up due to the latest moves by eBay.

We have had a very good rating with eBay since we started with them 10 years ago.  During that time eBay has grown phenomenally.  It is nice to see a success story like that.  This growth however, has not been without consequence, and the latest moves by this auction giant have alienated a very large portion of their buying and selling members, so much so that a massive boycott is in place, and many people are seeking alternative sites.

We could very easily maintain our position with eBay, and try to weather the storm that their new policies are going to generate, but it has come down to several things.

1.  Do we want to support a company that will take our money, and not listen to us?

2.  Do we want to, as sellers, not fully understand the quality of the bidders we are dealing with?

3.  As buyers, do we want to deal with a site that will still be offering auction items, but will be doing so with the Big Guns?

4.  I was a power seller on eBay, I  had some benefits that others did not, but I wasn't always a power seller.  Ebay started with the little guys, and now they seem to be forgetting them. 

5.  How was I, even as a Power Seller, going to pass on the 66%+ price increase that went into effect on Feb. 20, 2008, just so that I could break even?

6.  How could I as a seller, deal  with a business environment that virtually negated the thoughts and opinions of the very people that paid all of its fees?

7.  The poor guy or girl that just wanted to sell once or twice a year, with the new feedback and detailed seller rating, can be destroyed by just one vindictive buyer, that will not be held accountable for his actions, even if they're not true.

8.  The new rate structure actually punishes the small seller, effectively making them subsidize the other sellers.

For the above reasons, and even more, I decided that it was time to stop the bleeding and move forward.  We paid a lot of money to sell on eBay, and have nothing to show for it.  We have taken the money that we would have paid over the next two years to eBay, and invested it in this site.  For us, there is no turning back.  We have looked at many alternatives and decided that none of those sites offered what we wanted.  Yes, we will be offering our merchandise on this site, and we will be opening it up for others to do the same thing.

We  have a business plan that will keep costs down, provide true accountability for buyers and sellers, provide sensible and simple means of buying and selling, and, above all, stay true to the name in our site, ETHICAL.

We know that you will be shopping around for an auction site, and that is a good thing.  We are not going to try and be the biggest Auction Site.  Our goal is more complex than that, we want to be the Best Auction Site.  We are more interested in quality over quantity.  We want you, when you visit our site, say to yourself, this is what an auction site should be.  We want you to evaluate other auction sites based on your experience with us.  We want you to keep coming back.  We want you to succeed.

We will not forget the little people.  All to often this can happen.  We know, for us to succeed, we will need to meet your needs and wants.  To find out what they are, we will need to listen to you.  A lot of what has gone on in this site is the result of comments and suggestions from many people, from different walks of life, and from different parts of the world.  We may not implement everything that is suggested, but, if we as a concerned business can include new suggestions so they benefit the members of this site, we will do everything we can to do so.
